You can put a lot more chords and 16th notes into 7 fingers making rapid movements than 2 feet dancing, so what?
P.s. the person playing DDR on the left sucked, and the chart was slightly out of sync :/ you can tell on the first two arrows the video is late, shame.
Still, nice video.
@Zergling, you don't sweat profusely from IIDX, Lol, you just get sore hands, and I'm sure getting into the top levels of DDR like Kobayan etc. takes just as much practice as it does to become iidx DP Kaiden.
wheras for IIDX, it's mostly very simple once u get the hang of the keys. i play both games, so dun make conclusions and call me a noob. i'm just expressing my views based on wat i've experienced from both games. IIDX requires stamina in terms of ur eyes, bt DDR is a much more all-rounded game, testing ur physique, stamina, eyes and rhythm. i'm nt saying tht IIDX is a noob shit game, i juz feel that each game focuses on different skills.. :)
it's true. IIDX may be much harder to read, bt consider this: you are trying to hit all the notes at the part tht goes over 200bpm, ur whole body is vibrating from ur stepping, and you still trying to adjust ur eyes while keeping ur timing right and trying to get as many marvelous timings as possible. thn suddenly the whole thing slows down and u adjust ur eyes while keeping in time agn.
I love how stupid IIDX makes DDR look. Despite the fact that many say "Well DDR requires stamina" SO DOES IIDX...and it's 10x as hard to read and takes 10x as much practice to get good at.

Yes, IIDX (Goooooooooooold) is ridiculously hard. BUT... DDR requires whole-body endurance. It's a whole other ball game.
Let's just agree that DDR requires an entirely different skill set than IIDX.
