it is kinda intense when u play it at night and u dont like hooror type games in the dark its freaky but i play i just need alot of coffee and some pills to calm me down or the nieghbors wil cal the cops

why not like the doom 3 engine? it does give those creepy graphics but not as much as doom itself. i mean doom and quake are both fps but doom is more horrific since u cant see anything in quake is more of a war with easy visual to enemies

I love Quake, but I really don't like it with the Doom 3 engine. I think that if they led with the old engine I would've liked Quake 4 more.
