  • @greenaresfb Post Script: I implore you to keep replying, as I find making you look dumb amusing, and I get payed for this. Who doesn't like to have fun while working?

  • @greenaresfb And you can call me a nerd or hipster all you want, nobody who knows me ever has, not that being a nerd is bad. But, your stereotyping and poor writing only inspire me to reiterate: don't talk about what you don't know to people who do, because coupled with your bad writing, you sound dumb as shit.

and 2)You've never been me, and never could be, because I've never been a hipster, and you lack the necessary cognitive requisites.

  • @greenaresfb I wouldnt actually ask for your backup in this argument though, seeing as your reading comprehension is apparantly that of a 6 year old with no thesaurus. I'd say you have a tenuous grasp on the english language at best. If you are extremely young all this is excusable, as the rock that has come and gone might still be new to you, but any genuine music lover at some point needs to branch out, which you should. Variety is the spice of life chief

  • @greenaresfb 1) You just classified Nirvana and U2 in the same category. And, said BSS's achievments are relatively good. Relative to what? The only other achievments you mention is the rock of the last 50 years, so in fact not only are you arguing my point but saying they are better than all rock of the last 50 years. I wouldn't go that far buddy, I mean yeah they're great but that's a little short-sighted.

  • @greenaresfb And i know what I'm talking about i used to be one of you guys.

  • @yomamasbutthair You have made my point, you have mentioned their achievements which are RELATIVELY good. I do appreciate music, i love misic. There is plenty of REALLY good rock music from the last 50 years there is no need to listen to RELATIVELY good rock. You hipsters try to find the next u2 or nirvana before it becomes popular to feel special but its not easy, so you PRETEND you have found a great band instead.

  • @greenaresfb Right, because selling out concerts worldwide, launching artists like Emily Haines and Feist, being featured on blockbuster soundtracks, winning Juno awards best album, and guest appearing on primetime television multiple times only happens to unpopular artists. If you don't appreciate music that's fine, but don't pretend you know what your'e talking about to people who do.

  • @yomamasbutthair you know.. great music becomes popular at some point. 13 years is enough time to achieve it, they have not. Its because they are boring nerds, they can only appeal to nerds and not normal people.

  • @greenaresfb

time will tell? they've been making great music and selling out shows since 1999, and therefore trandscend whatever opinion you have what music has become popular in the last 3 years. You probably just lack the ability to navigate social channels that know about such excellent non-mainstream art.

  • proud representatives of Canadian alternative music!
