Tigerpwrr, are you using trackir 4?

You seem to be able to lean forward into (zoom) the mfd's and instrument bank quite closely, have you adjusted the x axis to 'push' you forward more?

When you are locking with Ctrl-Up (TMS Up) is it a long or short press? Also, are you using Ctrl-up over and over every time your crosshairs look centered? Or do you only use Ctrl-up after seeing the mav seeker lock once on it's own?

@smokytyrz Hi. The TMS up long, press, simply annotates the SPI for the TGP whilst the Mac MFCD (Right) is the SOI. This is a known bug in the current open beta version (26th Oct10). This is needed to be done before the seeker head will lock itself onto the target; all you have to do is try and keep the target in the cenntre of the cross hairs. The Mav WILL lock itself eventually, but i have noticed that using TMS up short, repeatedly if neccessary, aids Tgt lock at a greater range

Is it just me, or do the graphics look WAAYYY better than Black Shark?

I'm waiting for the boxed version..then I'm getting the new Thrustmaster Warthog..but if my wife finds out I'm spending $499 on a joystick, there will be NO pussy for me for at least a week....YEP, I'm getting that stick!

@Tigerpwrr I have noticed this about TMS up short as well. That's why I was asking if you were using an up short or an up long. That clears it up. Thanks!!

Excellent video! I think your video series helps to clear up a lot of the confusion about using the Mav in the Beta.
