  • @AljazeeraNewsChannel : HE IS THE PRIME MINISTER. You are ALJAZEERA NEWS CHANNEL, how can you be so stupid to get this little fact wrong to begin with? I believe the country WILL STAND ON THEIR FEET, you better stay alive for the time being to WITNESS WITH YOUR EYES.

  • i like this man...typically field commander and the gesture remind me of bruce willis...ever onward never retreat mr gusmao !

  • @Abraoize yes and other the reason is because Fretelin ideology is communist that is what scare US and Australia but they have a bad experience in Vietnam so they look at Indonesia who successfully eradicate communist in the region to deal with it and of course they finance it generously. just before Indonesian take over, US gives a squadron of C-130 to Indonesian for free!

  • If you were still a kid during the invasion of Indonesia to East-Timor, let me lecture you that the invasion was badly rejected by United Nations. The Security Council approved a resolution warned in Indonesia to withdraw its invasion but as matter of facts the resolution was ignored because the invasion was also supported by indonesians masters of diplomacy, western countries i mean.

  • Let me tell you one thing that East-Timor was invaded because of its natural resources. Indonesia as a neighbor notice and therefore greedily took action to take East-timor as its integral territory so that the indonesians would explore and be benefited of the oil and gas that East-Timor has. Comparatively speaking, the same thing as what your county has been doing to melanesian people of West Papua. It is also because of its rich minerals.

  • @d4n13lwu: You must be politically ignorant. You had better find your time to study some more politics. Are you saying that East-Timor was a burden of Indonesia? Then, why were we invaded in 1975 by the decision of your stupid leaders during that time? Had we a burden, we could have not been invaded. What a stupid country who wants to invade a country and reigned for a long time, if it were consider to be a burden.

  • shut up u ccorupt

  • i guess now he realize what a bunch of asshole Australian media are..:) ..take the heat xanana ..for australians, i guess they realize it now that Xanana was not a brilliant person the journalist paint him before..he spend quarter of his life in the jungle firing weapons to indonesia army as a petty criminals at first and now he have to deal with budgets and monetary..it is way of his league.. he could only count 1 to 10 and you guys expect him to deal with thousand divided by 360..

  • true ..but i guess none of aussy will hear or want to read this truth..because they just want to hear or read what they think is the "truth"
