This is a house fire we responded to, fire under control upon arrival. While we were packing up for interior mop up a family member arrived on scene and said there were two small children upstairs. No victims were found, house had minimal damage.

  • Honestly I have heard a lot of people breathing a lot heavier then that. Packing up was a bit slow though might want to practice on that. No one got hurt everyone went home keep training hard and stay safe

  • just to clarify we didnt know of the possible entrapment until we were already packed up...we were just gettin ready for mop up

  • Seriously? Dude... Quit Jackin with the Camera, Quit breathin your air outside, and Calm DOWN!! your suckin that bottle down! it went from a thirty min bottle to a 10. all your doin is walking anyways. there is no reason you should be breathin that hard.

  • the only time i was "jackin" with the camera was when i turned it on.......i clicked on outside because i was walkin to the house.....and the reason i was breathin so hard is because it was my first pack up and it was possible entrapment with two small children......so i was excited/nervous i think i had every right to be breathing hard

  • Good job brother! Don't take the comm's more than there worth

  • so...what of the kids? did they run away or what?

  • @gekkothegreat1 I agree with you 100%. Unfortunately with some volunteer departments we just don't have the money. Now the timing and tags need improved for sure. My department just spent a very large amount of money to replace our slowly dying rescue truck. We don't have the money to purchase voice amps and new portables for the trucks. It truely is a shame. Emergency personell put their life on the line for the good of the people, shouldn't they have the best equipment possible?

  • why didn't you do a primary search apon arrival thats our job life before property

  • Did you fing the kids ? and btw good video

  • I don't judge other depts but I would like to offer some advice from a chief with 28 years of exp. and the respect of 342 men I lead. SCBAs are to be on in 90 seconds even if your 51 like me ,period. Things I would like to have seen, voice amps on masks, Prime & second search, PPF working, hand held radios, tools in hands, more agressive search, did not hear ICS, accountability or see tags. When the big day comse you will play the way you practice. Not being ugly guys! God bless you all.

  • Sparticus1027 couldn't be any more RIGHT! How did you even get through training packing up that slow? Our probies can get ready faster than you! Quit worrying about your helmet cam and do your job hollywood!
