  • Someone has to keep tabs on the media, but ABC has always been very left-wing. It would be better to have a discussion program, where both sides of a situation are demonstrated.

  • Vexatious allegations?

    Projection much.

  • what ever happened to her

  • how do they get away with making accusations? cause your show is so full of shit!

  • 7...shouldnt you be showing clips of goats and bulldogs riding surfboards instead of real news?

  • ROFL. The difference between the 2 shows is that Media Watch actually show you where the f... up is in the form of actual statements and other written evidence . TT only give you stamps.

  • @germanicelt and you like the bull that 7 has on its show do you? when has any of its stuff been news worthy. clearley you don't want to hear what is going on the real world

  • @leeryman In time the Muslim fundamentalist here will come out and admit want they really want.

  • Besides, since when is it a socialist agenda to challenge the media (ABC included) on the accuracy and integrity of its reporting? I don't believe MediaWatch's issue was relevant to any particular ethnic or other group. Nor was any ruling made against MediaWatch so it's a little hypocritical to say that they were found making false claims. Their apparent concerns were about the dodgy reporting which is typical of Australia's commercial current affair shows, as are mine.

  • @germanicelt The ACMA ruling is a *little* more objective than your comment. Reading TFA, It is apparent 7 did not technically breach the two clauses in the code investigated. However it is also clear that the cuts 7 made resulted in a critical lack of clarification and context regarding what was said by the youth.

It is hard to imagine any other reason for 7 to make the cuts they did other than to create a polarising inflammatory and therefore popular opinion, at the expense of the youths.
