@deadspacre1314 If your ant is from the same colony then it will only look like they're attacking and they are really just helping her remove her wings.

When the big ants take to the sky, just look around on the floor for large ants. The large ones without wings are fertilised queens, make sure every couple of days you take the lid off and spray water in to keep everything moist. Once the ants start coming out put in about a pinhead size piece of fruit (pref banana) and what's NOT eaten take out.

I'm starting one tommorow in a big plastic jar i'm going to catch ants randomly going to get a queen ant.

the winged ants are queens but they have not mated yet. once they mate their wings fall off and then they lay eggs
