Yes, you are probably right. However, I have seen "cold" turn to "not cold" quickly. I say "not cold" as opposed to "hot". In a "not cold" case sometimes the don't side is best and sometimes bad. news. Thus, I prefere to play with the shooter and if the table becomes "cold" modify or minimize my bets or just leave the table. Good luck to you.

I agree the first 4 minutes are not what I wanted, but the producer did it. The rest of the video is very informative. Unfortunately, you need the dvd to see it.

Unfortunately, this short intro to the DVD was not done well. You are probably right. I do mention this idea in the video and books. Thanks for the heads-up.

I teach my 8th graders Craps. They're interested right away! I pass out sets of casino dice and had woodshop make me 18 dice boxes so I wouldn't have to listen to 18 pairs of dice rolling on the desks. The kids learn more fractions and probability theory in a week than they learned in all of 6th and 7th grades. I tell the paretns I'm teaching the kids a valluable skill so that when they get to Vegas they won't be losers who play the Big 6 and 8 or hardways homeless people.

Great idea! Getting kids to learn math, whatever the method, is a good thing today.
