A lot of vinyl stores have closed down here in Michigan. I remember going to the record store 4 times a week. It was my hang out in the 80s, but now, honestly, I still have my Records packed away, can't part with them, but they are too heavy and inconvenient for people who move around a lot- so I can't say I'd ever go back to it. sweet vid.

I love vinyl, but I wouldn't recommend sleeping with it because it breaks pretty easy. One of the saddest things is to go to a second hand store and see all the vinyl there that some of it no one will ever buy and then it will be put to sleep never to be heard again. It's a tragedy. I rescue a lot of it, but I can only buy and store so much of it. I need to start a site called rescue the vinyl . com.

me acuerdo cuando compre mi primer vinyl ..toodo un ritual quitar el plastico protector ..abrir el carton sacar el disco que no se raye ..escuchar el lp y ver la portada por hooras ..todavia tengo mi coleccion privada .. de hecho habia menos pirateria :D

One good tip for moving records into the basement is to know what you have there. Make a list - even if it just the name of the artists, and also a word

about where in the shelf(shelves) you placed it. I am using a 5x5 chess board refernce.

I want to raise the shelf with bricks and cardboard from the Ikea package before I fill it completely.

I never use the stickers for gliding or secure the shelf to the walls. I find the 93kg weight of an empty shelf sufficient.
