I took a heck of a lot of seeds, threw them in the garden and ignored them. They knew that if they didn't grow it was their own fault. I constantly remind all of my plants that if they start to get sick I will toss them. It works, no joke.

@MrBrownThumb yeah I may be smelling wrong but it seems to me that the fuchsia/purple ones are more intricate/complex, a scent ...

haha "brown thumb" yes I love 4 o'clocks, too. Especially the magenta/fuchsia/purple-ish ones ... I have purposely collected just the fuchsia magenta seeds, this time for planting, next Spring ... they look so good, such a brilliant / bold color and the fragrance is even more keen than the yellow, to my nose anyway .

@sYnerGyZniGmA I've never noticed that the fragrance is different. I'll have to investigate that.

You're kidding me,can't get them to germinate?! They grow fuckin everywhere!!!!By themselves! In fact they're almost impossible to get rid of .Just dig up the tuber it grows on if you can't get them to germinate by seed. Any little piece of the tuber will sprout a new flower.

@shadowhog777 Not kidding. When I posted this I couldn't get them to germinate at all, but I'm happy to report that I have three plants growing after finally being successful with the seeds. I plan on digging up the tuber this year and moving it to someplace safe.
