Quick edit of footage taken in Washington DC with a Canon VIXIA HF100. I wanted to see how the camera would perform in low light settings using the cinema mode. Some shots were handheld, while others were using a mini-tripod.

I adjusted contrast, saturation, color, and sharpness in Sony Vegas 9. I think the noise was magnified by the sharpening.

  • very awesome video! I think this is the low light test I was looking for! Did you use any special affects, adjustments or tweaks when you input it into your computer? Or is this raw footage?

    Thanks for sharing!

  • Thanks, it has some contrast/brightness/sharpening done to it. It isn't raw footage.

  • @MichaelJacksonSpin Oh yea i definatly does, I have the same camera, and before I put it on here it looked worlds better.

  • @199FOE 720, but youtube does alot of tough compression on the video when is uploaded, so i guess i looks better on your computer before you uploaded it.
