The purpose of Go Figure? is to help students review for the mathematics section of the Grades 5-7 Ohio Academic Achievement Tests. The topics covered by the project address critical objectives found in the tests, but more importantly, they address those items that are frequently missed by students.
Pythagleo plans a reunion party for the missing students complete with decorations. Pythagleo, Chris, and Carter plan the menu and the amount of food to order. Three foot-long subs can feed four people. The mysterious Emily attends the party.

Math Content
How to write ratios to compare two quantities.
Writing ratios as fractions.
Proportions -- two ratios are equal.
Proportions can be used to enlarge something without distorting it.

The original "Go Figure" series and CD-ROM game was produced in 1997 by the WOUB Center for Public Media; (Athens, Ohio) and WVIZ/ideaStream, (Cleveland, Ohio) - funded by the Ohio Educational Telecommunications Network Commission. In 2006, the curriculum was updated, CD-ROM re-mastered, and website created (woub.org/gofigure) - produced by the WOUB Center for Public Media with partner agency eTSEO (Educational Technology for Southeastern Ohio) - funded by the eTech Ohio Commission.

    more people understand about math and it really helped me understand alot this is a really great video to share with anyone who is having trouble with math .
