Unless it was too perplexing of a comment for you; pride in ethnicity or skin color is, to me, unwarranted. Also, the "big deal" was to how you reacted to a man telling kids to skate elsewhere, even if he did say "skate at the white church." It's not really "DISGUSTING" as you described. No one needs pride in the first place, just be proud to be the individual that you are, have pride in practicing the character you possess not voicing opinions through skin color or ethnic difference.
