Anemometry Specialists, located in Alta, is owned and operated by Rob and Tara Hach. The company employs 30 experienced staff members and has over 55 years of experience installing and maintaining wind assessment met towers.  Their trained technicians have installed more than 1,700 met towers in 35 states and five international locations. In addition to met tower installations, Anemometry Specialists provides data collection, data analysis, site assessment, tower repair and maintenance, tower relocation and project management services. Rob and Tara are proud recipients of the 2010 Iowa Small Business Persons of the Year Award. The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) bestows this prestigious award to Iowa small businesses that have shown consistent profitable growth, community involvement, and employee betterment. Rob and Tara represented Iowa at the National Small Business Week ceremonies in Washington, D.C.
