  • the true soul of ireland.

  • @dustysailor1 ye generally, still need more substansial DNA studies if possible...so much mixing now esp in britain gonna be difficult. The island may be well visited but the take away message is they didnt leave that huge a genetic trace...still mostly the same old black and ginger gene carrying nutters from iberia lol

  • Accept totally 20%, northern european influnce is a much younger gene pool, the more established Welsh,Cornish,Irish and Basque connection is visable to this day. The same hardpoint genepool areas exist in Ireland today mainly associated with west Cork/Kerry and Connocht. Litteraly the areas least exposed to Norman and subsequent Anglo influence be it by geography or resistance. But of the remaining 80% what % of the older races DNA still survive, our islands were after all, well visited.

  • @dustysailor1 I study genetics, the english are not that germanic (maybe 20% at most mainly towards the east).....most have similar ancesotrs to the welsh and cornish but they lost this brythonic celtic tongue.......needs much research if new to ancient history...(the welsh and irish share connections with the basques as well after post ice age spread)

  • @Snedger LOL you really think english are a distinct race. How old are you? I am a genetical historian - the english ancestors spoke languages like welsh and cornish (brythonic) where do you think the names pennines, dover (dwfr), liverpool, penrith, caerlisle come from....they aint germanic matey...English are only part germanic ...you been culturally brainwashed by the ruling elite over the years to think your a race...god help you all

  • One of the best irish musicians ever. Rest in peace Luke. We will never forget you. Greetings from West Belfast. We are still there.

  • all over the world ,freedom &peace
