Reading for Awareness: Nuclear Power

Reading this book is like reading a fantasy novel. Some of the ideas are amazing! Regardless of where one stands on any issue reading different points of view is excellent for understanding. What do you think? The book is basic level scientific so can be read quite well by most people with some science classes under their belt-middle school probably.

Maybe this is better taped than the intro :)If not let me know and i'll change it all up for better quality...mostly i'll talk slower lol :)

into genrally means direct unless treated first. nuclear plants like chinobal is dangerous because they used electric powered stopping devices not grav powered like we do here in the Uk which will hardly ever fail as it is only held up using electricity if that fails the rods go down therefore meltdown isnt a risk. but what we do with the waste is an issue so i dont know. thats fission, cold fusion is another matter it produces no waste at all in fact it is clean as the byproduct is water

ya nuclear power is bad news, and im not just saying that. my major is energy conversions in mech engineering. 60 to 80% of all the heat generated in the nuclear fuel is lost to the cooling water. it sounds crazy but its true. so for every say 30 watts you use 70 watts go into a lake to cool the reactors .... its terrible ....
