@i8bugs1 I have many recordings of this, so I hear what you're saying, but the version I do is based on a vid of Alison Krauss here on youtube, which I can tell she based off the Skaggs and Rice one, so it sort of is the standard for Grassers. Hopefully mine's not too "whiney" if you want to check it out. :)
It's so refreshing to see young passionate musicians paying tribute to the classics with purist respect of the genre. Dare I say the mainstream musical world is poised for a new-grass/alt. folk explosion with acts such as this, the Avett Bros, Punch Bros, etc etc?! One can only hope! Great job guys! Inspiring!!
disagree w ringmaster. Skaggs and Rice have a good version too but I wouldnt say it sets the standard. Everybody and thier brother has done this one. Personally I like all of them as long as they arent real 'whiney'. Thile's voice is clean and warm, the harmony is spot on.
I respect these guy's for carring on this beautiful song. thank you for posting

Great version - but Skaggs & Rice still set the standard for this one, IMHO.
