Holy shit I did it (on hard), used the paus-trick to let the Wii load all the Yoshis, got the time 1:55:88

Okay listen up everybody, This event is hard as hell but I discovered a trick to beating it on hard. The main reason why its so hard is because the Yoshis take too long to load. When they arent any yoshi's on the screen, pause the game once until you hear your wii stop making the sound. Then unpause and re-pause VERY QUICKLY. wait for the loading sound to stop from your wii, then unpause. Two more Yoshis should appear. keep Doing this, you should kill about 20+ Yoshi's while still on the boat.

You can try pausing the game when you hear the Wii loading Yoshis. Once loaded, unpause. (I haven't tried this yet, but it may work)
