@samusic160 @voltamp Actually, I didn't think that was the case... I heard from the mouth of Mike White at a Beach Boys concert last summer that the two groups were once in Rishikesh, India at the same time and the Beach Boys walked up on this guy with a guitar who said he had written a Beach-Boys-esque song and asked to play it for them... It was Back in the USSR and the guy was Paul.

@voltamp Interesting, thanks for the information, i knew they must of got some influence from the Beach Boys however i didn't know they had a rivalry with them and i didn't know this was a parody. They had some pretty interesting rivalries with the rolling stones, the beach boys and more that i probably don't know about. It's true that you learn something everyday, it's just sometimes you don't realise it and it's especially nice when you learn something new about something you love like music.
