  • What do neck braces feel like? I've always wondered that.

  • I have a small soft one. It takes some getting used to. I don't wear it all the time... when im on the computer (I also have a laptop, when I am sitting for long periods of times, and car trips. It makes a huge difference. My neck vertebrae woud sublux about everytime i turned my head to the right. Now i barely crack when i turn. . Good luck to you.

  • I've done that (gotta love EDS). Hang in there.

  • EDS iz da bomb! Ha, I spend too much time on LOLZCATS. Anyway, what haveyou done to help an injury like this... so far resting and immoblizing and heat (and of course my topical stuff and pain killers) are helping a bit. Anything else I should know about? Take care.

  • hi

there are good support networks in the netherlands, forums to. there are about 3000 people with eds in the netherlands (and about 10 % goes to forums) so its very personal there.

is you're shoulder healing? i hope it is.

    bye

  • I'm glad you have some good support networks in your area. a good support system is key ( along with good, understanding dr and meds... lol) in dealing with this condition.

  • I don't know if anyone told you but we have a high tolerance for lidocaine (as well as pain) so the patches do not seem to help us as well as they do the general population.

Mine never did anything for me but a co-worker who was in agony tried one of mine an felt relief in seconds, just another fun fact for EDS sufferers.

Maybe one day I will make a video and upload it, although I have been in pain since I was 8 overall I haven't done too bad.

    Hang in there!

  • you look beautiful! you're so tough for being so honest with the universe....I hope you're having a decent day, sweetie. ;-) Muscoskeletal shit is horrible.... you are brave as hell. keep on keepin on, hon.

    xoxoxo

    jessie

  • Just time, meditation, netflix & lots of different pillows. I credit a lot of healing success to lolcats, too.

  • Hi there, I'm sorry to hear that you suffer from this condition also. Are there any support networks in your area? I know there is a Ehlers-Danlos online forum in the UK, just google it.
