yes, its the entire goatskin with hair on inside. Erik, I wager, is playing an instrument by Luigi ( or probably his son Piero) Ricci molise 25 with a wintex bag.

Good question. Perhaps the Swedes can answer that. Erik and Anna are the experts - and others I am sure in the traditional music scene. I also note that other zampogna have huge bags - the full size of a goat or sheep turned inside out I suspect. It's hard to see the player behind some of them!
