I think 3D's biggest win was to nail this kind of heavy, sinister, dont give a crap tone whilst sounding like himself. You might find that his signing voice isn't technically amazing, but it's unique as hell. Try signing monotone. You'll bore people.

This is my favourite song from Massive Attack's Heligoland album, and a really impressive clip.
The animal looks like the rabbit in Donnie Darko, a movie centred around a plane crash (as is the episode finale of Breaking Bad season 3 but thats another story).

The sequel to this video is the one for Splitting the Atom, also directed by Eduard Salier. It's a beautiful piece of art, rare for a music video.
