Bob Marley - Bad Card Live 1980

Bob Marley & the Wailers live at Hynes Auditorium in Boston, September 16 1980. This was the first concert during the U.S. leg of Uprising Tour. Some days later he made his last concert in Pittsburgh.

This is the second known performance of Bad Card live, the other one is from Grenoble, France in the early parts of the Uprising Tour.

This first six pictures are from the concert in Providence, Rhode Island the following day.
Next picture is from Madison Square Garden some days later and then there is a picture from Norway 1980.
The last picture is the from Madison Square Garden 1980.

It is said that is this song is about Bob's former manager Don Taylor who during many years stole money from the band.

"The term card or bad card in this case serves as a metaphor quite popularly used in Jamaican music and street talk referring to some deceitful action or slyness on the part of an individual or group of individuals.

In this case the song speaks of one associate of Marley's that was founding to be cheating the group, Bob Marley and the Wailers, while on tour in Africa of profits made."

Yes, he should have been playing huge arenas with tenthousands of people at that time. But he never got as big in the US as in Europe.

Do some searching on google and you will find it on different site, be aware that the quality aint that good, Bad Card is the only song that got decent sounding.

@rouenjp I believe it was just a day or two after this performance. He was complaining of fatigue and thought a jog in Central Park would do the trick. He collapsed while jogging and him bredren said him foam at the mouth, look scared with fear.... He was then taken to the hospital and the doctor tell him to get his affairs in order, maybe two weeks to live. He performed for last time in Pittsburgh, went to Germany under the guise of a doc who help him live,rushed to go home but died in MIAM
