@NewWaveFan1 then if you don't want to be associated with the "old" Klan, why do you use the same name. There is nothing wrong with being proud to be White, but why is it a must to use the name of an organization that murdered innocent ppl because they did not look like them???

And beliefs... You can believe whatever you want so long as they DO NOT affect how you treat others! No racists can do this... separate his personal beliefs with life outside his home, at work, stores, in streets, etc.

@gagachickaa a fair point also, I too have spoken those words to other Blacks saying "you must show them that you are not the sub-human, unintelligent, animal they think you are." But at the same time, reconsider the fact that we (Blacks) should NOT have to prove ANYTHING to people at all. To what white person do I have to "prove" myself contrary to what their racist parents taught them? The last time I checked, I only have something to prove to GOD! Respect Gaga. Peace

@Nathanielc2 Fair enough. But you cannot expect us to get over it if you cannot either. I do see your point and I do understand it, but white people that do judge blacks (the few that are left) are not going to reconsider if they continue to offend them. You cannot fight fire with fire no matter how hurt you are as it will get you no where. If you really want to see a difference be nice to everyone no matter who they are. That will be more of a wakeup call than cussing them out.

@MrJMBrowning that is a false equivalency to equate the NAACP with the Klan... even in representation. The NAACP does not have a history of murder, hatred, bigotry, & a racist ideology of one race's superiority over others. Their representation has always been a political & legal process seeking equality & justice. The Klan's ideology of superiority & segregation was executed with intimidation, murder, & hatred... terrorists. I will credit you with the intelligence to see the difference. Peace

@Heartgaurdian when people of color see & still experience the same hatred & racism that caused 300-400 years of suffering for an entire people, it is hard for them to see the other side in God's light. I too have struggled with this. But God always allowed me to meet and befriend some very kind and honorable people (non-Black) so that my spirit does not become as hateful as others. Ask yourself... "what have they (dreamer) seen & experienced to feel this way?" Try to empathize & forgive. Peace
