I saw it this morning. It was awesome. I've never seen Dog Day Afternoon. I am going to check it out. He was awesome in the Godfather films.

Part of John's Mystique is that those who do not know who he was can't really identify with him. However, those who DO and especially actors not only identify with him, but draw influence from him to this day and forever.
