  • Harvey is evil, like all socialists. He wants government power and state slavery.

  • @warriorprince1010 and you understand a shit about the way this world works, don't you...?

  • Zatim bez odpovedi, tak to zkusim jeste jednou :-)

Neuvažuješ třeba o přepsání toho rozhovoru?

  • Promiň, bylo by to fajn, ale já teď mám šíleně práce...

  • This is great. Did David Harvey visit the Czech Republic then recently? Damn, we should've invited him to Hungary too.

  • No, he didn't visit the Czech Republic, I visited New York :)) and I was asking him questions that he didn't really know how to answer... well his answers were great as usual, but I was just wondering how all that stuff he had been talking could be applied in context of postsocialist countries

  • Socialism doesn't work. History has proven it's failures, you can't plan an economy, it's too complex with too many variables. Unions only benefit the worker who is unionized and at the expense of the consumer, the business and anyone who does not work for the union. Faced with competition, that is not unionized, goes bankrupt. Corporations need employees sometimes more than employees need the corporation. And sometimes it's the opposite, Eliminate corporate tax and you will have more employment

  • Mám rád český jazyk. Moje žena je česká.

  • Marxist economics contradicts itself.

  • @MikatchouPx Yes alot more than you, potty mouth.

  • oh, right, sorry :)

I think what he said relates to Post-SU countries only generally, not in a very specific way.

obviously, as he said at the beginning, he's not an expert on Eastern Europe. still, it was an interesting little interview, thanks...
