Jacque Fresco Interview:
Do you have any personal hero's?

I owe a great deal to people from many disciplines who contributed to this vision. People like Jules Verne, Edward Bellamy, Howard Scott, Thorstein Veblen, H. G. Wells, Sir Jagardis Chunder Bose, Alfred Korzybski, Walter B. Cannon, Stewart Chase, Clarence Darrow, Arthur C. Clarke, Mark Twain, Jacque Loeb, Carl Sagan and others too numerous to mention.

  • "How are you going to communicate with the alinens? You can't even commucinate with the Russians."

  • I personally enjoy many of Cal's ideas and speeches, but Jacque definitely makes a big point here! And that "communicate with the Russians" part is priceless :P

  • Global diplomacy first before galactic

  • Love Jacque...but Sagan has done more for the understanding of science, and the teaching of critical thinking than almost anybody. The SETI project is one of many that Carl devoted himself towards. If you've ever read any of Carl's books, you know he would agree with Jacque. What Carl has said and researched regarding the Cosmos, and the search for other life forms, has a value that can be set aside from science, and is just as important as working together... it's good for the human spirit.

  • Tough love.

  • Respect is an out dated term used to force people to appreciate your shitty ideas. Only respect that should be given is that of someones life the respect not to take it

  • Jacque makes a good point but shows no respect for Carl.

H needs to understand that Carl was a dreamer just like himself.

  • Right on, Jacque!

  • @jhipson - it will.
