Lucky Star (らき☆すた, Raki☆Suta) is a Japanese four-panel comic strip manga by Kagami Yoshimizu. The strip has been serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's Comptiq magazine since January 2004. Cameo strips were published in other magazines such as Shōnen Ace and others. Like many four-panel comic strips, it has no ongoing plot, and typically focuses on the daily lives of the characters.

In August 2005, a drama CD based on the series was released, and in December 2005, a Nintendo DS video game entitled Lucky Star Moe Drill, was released. A sequel, also playable on the DS, called Shin Lucky Star Moe Drill was released in May 2007, and a PlayStation 2 visual novel was released in January 2008. In September 2006, it was released to the press that Kyoto Animation would be animating an anime based on the series; it contains twenty-four episodes. The anime first aired on the Chiba TV Japanese television network between April 8, 2007 and September 16, 2007, though aired concurrently on other networks. A light novel was released in September 2007. The anime has been licensed in the USA by Kadokawa Pictures and distributed by Bandai Entertainment; the first of six DVDs was released in North America on May 6, 2008, with the second slated for July 1, 2008. An original video animation episode will be released in either summer or fall 2008 accompanied by a drama CD.

@mermaidmelodylover37 I remember of a temple that appears in the opening of "Lucky Star". One school in that very prefecture changed its uniforms (at least the female ones) to make them identical to the ones worn by the female cast of the anime. Would you like to imagine Kiko studying there, dressed like Misao but with the shorts and hat we agreed upon? Maybe Girafales could go to teach at that same school if he dressed himself as Simbato Amasaki.

@mermaidmelodylover37 Now we're talking! And... should Quico keep the blue, white and red hat too while wearing Misao's uniform? Another theory: the navy blue sailor suit that Quico wears is the actual school uniform of his school, but he and Nhonho are the only children rich enough to afford it, and even Nhonho doesn't wear the uniform because he is too fat for it to fit him. But I still want Quico to wear Misao's uniform with the matching shorts we agreed on before.

@mermaidmelodylover37 I totally agree. So, could he wear shorts with the same color scheme as the skirt? The shoes and socks could be similar to the ones worn by Misao, too. What do you think? And what about his hat? Could it be the blue, white and red hat that he wears sometimes? I think it would be better than the red, blue and yellow one.
