Other than the fact that there was absolutely no point in using acoustic guitars with the effects.. haha this is an amazing song! Really enjoyed the performance.

The responsibilities of being in a band full-time are ridiculous. He's got a wife and a kid, I would assume he just wanted to be free of the touring and shit and just make the music he wanted to on his own schedule.

also because the injury of his hand. he wasnt able to play as hard as he did in HWM. he took a long break after they broke up then started the solo stuff which is more mellow so he can still play music with his hand.
