You narrow minded dickhead! The days when the jags, BMW's Nissan Skylines etc were the best days that the ATCC has ever seen and sadly because the Holden and Ford V8's were getting slaughtered by the European / Jap competition the Aussie ruling body could not stomach it any more. So what do you have now, two manufacturers, 30 cars that all look the same apart from a few stickers, how fookin boring is that. If one of these manufactures pulls out thats the end of this great race and the ATCC.

@mikldude about 550 bhp for the Walkinshaw Jags. There was an XJS that ran at Bathurst and the ATCC (a red one) that was tuned to 750 bhp and was awesomely fasst, but was unreliable.

bring back some variety , we're all sick of taxis battling , how bout some smaller and bigger cars and different engine types/sounds ? those were the days ! un-australian to not give someone a go and ban them if the cheeky buggers actually beat ya ! feel free to make a faster car yourselves gmh/ford ! used to love to watch jags,skylines,sierras,bmw's whip the taxis !
