What is anti-Semitism today, two generations after the Holocaust? In his continuing exploration of modern Israeli life, director Yoav Shamir (Checkpoints, Flipping Out) travels the world in search of the most modern manifestations of the oldest hatred", and comes up with some startling answers.
In this irreverent quest, he follows American Jewish leaders to the capitals of Europe, as they warn government officials of the growing threat of anti-Semitism, and he tacks on to a class of Israeli high school students on a pilgrimage to Auschwitz.
Opinions often differ and tempers sometimes flare, but in Defamation we find that one thing is certain - only by understanding their response to anti-Semitism can we really appreciate how Jews today, and especially modern Israelis, respond to the world around them, in New York and in Moscow, in Gaza and Tel Aviv.

The first time I travelled to Nepal and India was the first time I met Israelis, who I pretty much knew nothing about. I was open to liking them, just like anyone else. Experiencing them being rude, arrogant, racist and generally horrible to other people of various nationalities, European and Asian, whittled away my good will towards them. Am I an anti-semite?

I watched the whole movie. I cannot believe how Israel brainwash in typical fascist style their own teenagers, the scene in Poland when 3 old guys are joking in Polish, and saying that Israeli girls were nice was interpreted by girls that they are mocking them calling them Monkey and are anti Semite, this is so sad.

How many of those Oligarchs actually practice Judaism? Are they good representatives of Jews? No. Was there a worldwide Jewish confrence that set this whole thing in motion? No, it's because of the way Jews act. In every country they go to they always try to take over the country for themselves and treat the native people with instinctive hostility as inferior "goyim" who are the enemies of Jews. Look up how many of the Russian Oligarchs are Jews. Imagine if you were a Russian person, your country is in chaos after the collapse of communism, and a group of greedy Jews take over your whole economy for themselves while everyone else suffers.
