NIST corroborates the use of explosives in the destruction of the Twin Towers. Directly, by documenting the horizontal movement of heavy steel sections that moved approximately 328 ft./ 110 m horizontally, and indirectly, by co-developing the NFPA 921 statements and consenting to them. The NFPA 921 is clear about the fact that the horizontal acceleration of heavy debris is typical for high-order damage and explosions where venting effects take not place, which means in the case of the Twin Towers (where the scene should have allowed venting effects to develop in case of accidental explosions) that explosives must have been used during the destruction. NIST's documentation is covered at the beginning of part 1/1 of the video. The NFPA 921 statements that lead to the conclusion that explosives must have been used are covered in part 2/2 (starting at 12:04min), NFPA 921 statements that the horizontal movement of debris is to be documented, and that it allows conclusions about the "... relative force of the explosion" are covered in part 1/2 (after NIST's documentation). In addition, the video provides a documentation and analysis of the horizontal movement of several heavy, free flying sections originating from both, WTC 1 and WTC 2, that are not documented by NIST. It is shown that all these sections were free-flying, heavy and that they moved significant distances horizontally. It is discussed that even much more heavy debris pieces moved horizontally and free flying. This documentation and analysis can be found in the video between 4:54 min of part 1/2 and 12:04 min of part 2/2.
