Madd Dogg (Casino Mission #8) with a pre-saved Jetpack (no cheats) - GTA San Andreas - Mission Help

This is simple demonstration on how to do the mission Madd Dogg in Las Venturas using a pre-saved Jetpack.

For this video I used the Jetpack that spawns at the Abandoned Airfield. I saved the game, with the Jetpack just outside of the front entrance to the Camel's Toe.

You must remove the Jetpack so that it will be at the exact spot where Carl appears when you re-start the game... it's very tricky to do, but still very possible.

Even if you can't see the Jetpack when you re-start the game, it's still there... the game saves the location of the jetpack in the same way it retains the memory location of dropped weapons and dead bodies... eventually they will fade away, and the same holds true for the Jetpack when you save the game, it'll fade away too, but you still have enough time to get it before it does. (thanks to P.D. Escobar for that information).

For those of you who are experiencing a glitch where Madd Dogg jumps too soon, it's because of the following reasons:
1) For the PC version, it because the 'Pedestrians Fight Each Other' cheat code was activated prior to doing this mission. The solution is to not save the game after activating that cheat code. hmvartak over at GTAForums.com created a fix for it, but it only works on the PC version, and not the XBox or PlayStation versions. The 'Riots' cheat code does not cause the glitch on PC, that's a common mistake that people make.
2) For the PlayStation 2 version, the glitch is caused due to the 'Riots' cheat code being activated. This is different than the PC version. The solution is to not save the game after activating that cheat code; there are no other known solutions to fix it on the PlayStation 2.
3) I don't know how about the XBox version, so I cant give any information for that.
