Once, Vangelis had said ( using his Yamaha CS80 ) that ''you can bring feelings through this instrument''. Although i don't have the CS80, i tried to make a simple Demo playing on my own Yamaha CS70M, just to share with you my experience.

  • Yes, CS-70M... spankingly wonder-beast....!

  • The CS70 is truly a wonderful machine...;c)

  • I will always be searching for one of these ... i loved it from the moment i played it, but was very young to buy it at that time ...

Cool video, thank you for uploading this.

  • And thank you for such a delicate and soulful example of the CS70m's sonic capabilities.

PS: what effects did you use?

  • Hello

Great clip and excellent sound quality.!!!

The cs70m has been such an unloved synth, always in the shadow of its heavy big brother.....& quite rightly too the CS80 was a high water mark in evolution of synths.

But it does, as your video clearly demonstrates, have its own character and does posses that classic CS sound. I own a CS70m, its away being fitted with the Kenton midi retrofit kit, when it returns it will be velocity sensitive over midi....can't wait to hear what that sounds like.

  • nice... wish I had mine back...

  • apisteuto synth! kalorizito sundayman..kales suntheseis!
