Welded baffles and key abrasion area reinforcements give the Summit Jacket better durability than other down jacket designs that use light fabric to reduce weight. This is tough outerwear for difficult weather conditions. The Summit Jacket has a fully adjustable and removable hood with single-hand cinchcords for easy fit refinements. You can stash the hood inside the internal stretch water bottle pocket or any of the other four available pockets. Velcro® adjustable cuffs along the sleeves usually meet up perfectly with the gussets on most mountaineering gloves--provided that you pick the right size before your peak performance.
