I'm a little surprised that Jason chose to play bass on his own song, leaving Buddy and Jon to pick up the guitars! Not that i'm complaining, mind..... I LOVE Jason's bass work! The rumble of that first note on the album, at the start of Very Best Years....awesome. It's all over Eric Matthews' albums, too. I once asked an engineer to get me that same bass sound for a track. (He came close, too!)
his goatee is awful haha

Jason's songs are up there or better with the bands I've loved over 4 decades. Genius.

Jason Falkner and Jon Brion? That much talent should be illegal.

Wow, this is amazing. First time I've heard Eloquence live non acoustic. This is totally amazing...truly good music.

I was thinking the same thing. Song sounds almost the same in 1994 as the version he releases in 1999.
I also have a live recording of him in 2002 where he plays a song that later appears on his 2007 album.
I think I remember reading in an interview somewhere where he says he has dozens of songs just sitting waiting to be released.
I just hope we get to hear all of them sooner rather than later.

How old is this clip? I had no idea Falkner had written this song before disbanding The Grays.

Ro Sham Bo was the Odessey (sic) & Oracle of the 90's. Thanks for making it possible to share this band's genius with others.
