@GOministry Exactly, the UPCI was created to protect their white girls from black boys, we know! But no, it wasn;t just a CULTURAL issue....it was (and is!) a SIN ISSUE! The UPC is a cult full of lies and inconsistant men who LIE about their history, even the history of their doctrine and denomination! Go read "Christianity Without The Cross" and begin to learn the hidden things IN THEIR OWN WORDS that the UPC doesn't want to remember, or you to know!

@umbilical007 You need to put everything in the right context. I'm, by the way, a mixed of a black man and a white woman in upci. At that time, it was 'normal' to be seperated it was a cultural issue. It didn't mean that those white pentecostals hated the blacks. No, its just the mixing part that wasn't 'accepted' at that time. You gonna say cultur doesn't have its place in church! I agree but you can't deny how culture is impregnate in the church. The black church style etc...

The Azusa Street Revival and Church was mixed, while society and the world discriminated them for it.

please don't get me wrong. The POA as far as I know, is working on plans for a women's training center. As to when it will come to pass, I'm not sure. Forgive me for my use of the term "Hospitality" it is not near the point of deciding what the training corses would be when there is a women's training center. I do see where your coming from as far as the whole organization not believing that way. I am not a member of the POA, I am a graduate of the internship myself. therfore I can not speak

The UPCI DOES believe in women in ministry - and giving them a ministers license.

notice I said "I'm not to sure on how the organization stands but they DO license women." I never said they didn't I'm sorry if I worded it wrong.

well... I'm not to sure on how the organization stands but they do license women. We do have a strong belief that women can minister, in whatever capacity they feel God has called them. The POATC is not training just to be a pastor, you can come here, and learn how to be an outreach coordinator, or to run a media system. so if there is a training program for women in the future, it will be different training. still hands on ministry of the word, but with a focus on hospitality and etc.
