Sanshou is a sport-version of Kung Fu. It utilizes the condensed kicks, punches, and sweeps used in real life Kung Fu.

@MartialValor sure buddy because muay thai strikes with the shin and kung fu with the foot. oh ya and i also like all the throws that muay thai does they are oh so awsome, or the sweeps, or the entirely different kicking styles. Dont criticize sanda unless you know the differences in the arts

The kung fu is there plain as day because kung fu means skilled man or trained man, both were skilled at muay thai boxing apparently, although I was expecting to see San Shou or Shuai Jiao vs Muay Thai.

Where's the Kung Fu? It was all over the head of the Muay thai fighter. As a martial artist who has studied & taught, Kung Fu, wrestling, boxing, muay thai and BJJ it amazes me the number of people who comment without knowledge. I have respect for all martial arts, not just the ones I studied. Get aquainted with San Shou, that is what he was doing.

Looks like two muay thai fighters. You're not fooling anyone. Unless the guy in white shorts is the kung fu specialist but we will never know since he didn't do anything.
