Episode 20
No POV
One at a time the kids woke up. Collin was first one to walk in Demi's room. He saw his dad asleep with Peter and his mom on the other side. He walked to Demi and patted her shoulder. She slightly woke up and moved so he could lay with her. He slid under the covers and laid his head on Demi's chest. Next Emily walked in and she squeezed herself in between Joe and Demi and laid her head on Demi. Demi had both of her arms wrapped around them. It was almost nine and Demi couldn't get back to sleep but everyone else was asleep in her bed. She slowly got up and went to the nursery and locked the door. She watched the snow fall while she fed and burped her little girls. She kept Addison close to her chest while she walked down the stairs. She grabbed the baby bouncer and placed it on the floor. She laid Addison in it and buckled her up. She put the other one next to it and got Hannah placing her in it. Demi sat down and smiled at her girls. She smiled while she played with their toes and with their fingers. She stroked the top of their head while giving them kisses. She lightly stroked her cheeks and moved her finger over their bodies. Demi heard footsteps and she looked up. She saw Emily walking downs the steps. Emily skipped to Demi and sat on her lap.
Emily: We have no school today?
Demi: No school. You get stay home with me all day.
Demi wrapped her arms around Emily and laid her chin on Emily's shoulder looking at Hannah and Addison.
Emily: I am going to give them a kiss.
Demi: Ok be careful.
Demi grew a smile while Emily gave both her sisters a kiss on the forehead.
Demi: You know I love you right?
Emily turned around on Demi's lap and kissed her cheek and giving her a hug.
Emily: Yes, I love you very much.
Demi: Good. Do you want some breakfast?
Emily nodded her head.
Demi: Do you want to help me make breakfast?
Emily: Yes! That would be fun!!
After breakfast Jemi and the kids got dressed to play outside in the snow. Demi tied Emily's hair back and put a hat on her. Demi went down the line and zipped each jacket up. She put gloves on each child and she helped them with their boots. Joe headed out side with Emily, Collin, and Brody. Demi dressed Peter and she couldn't help but give him kisses. She put his hat on and tied it under his chin. She had him in her arms she walked out the front porch and put him at the bottom of the steps for Joe. Demi dressed herself fast and checked on her girls and they were both sleeping.
Demi walked outside and immediately made a snow ball and threw it at Joe. She laughed when it hit his back. She helped the kids make a big snowman. They all made snow angels. Joe and Collin made an igloo and Collin was making snowballs while he was in there. Demi was sitting in the snow with Peter on her lap. She smiled handing him a snowball she made. Emily was putting finishing touches on her snowman and Brody was rolling around in the snow.
Joe's POV
I watched my kids each doing their individual thing. I smiled watching all of them. I watched Demi with Peter. She loves her kids so much, and it shows. I watched as her look turned to concern when Peter started crying. She took him in the house and I got all the other kids in the house and into dry clothes.
Demi's POV
I watched as Peter happily ate the chex mix I put in front of him. I filled the five cups with hot chocolate and put them on the kitchen table. As all the kids came and filled the table I took Hannah in my arms and sat down. I watched Joe come in and sit down with Addison in his arms. I look around at the amazing family Joe and I have. I couldn't help but smile and think Joe and I, we did this together "Just for our kids!"
