Sid Davis IS A GOD

Drivers' Ed. oh, those were the days. Did these change the way any of us drove?

@korngirl95616 My father used to drive like that (probably worse) all the time. He'd find a big truck that was heading in the same direction and follow it up close for as long as he could. Bad habit, but I'm sure there are plenty of alcoholics around that do the same thing. I remember a film like this from the '80s where a kid stands in the driveway holding a jack-o-lantern as his father pulls in; as the film closes all you see is a crushed pumpkin.

"Nobody thinks much about driving after four beers." Whew! Gotta love those family-values Fifties!
-
He also remade his first film (Dangerous Stranger) around the same time.
-
Interesting that Sid Davis remade this film in color with almost exactly the same script in 1968.
