Kenneth Miller
Cell biologist and author Kenneth Miller discusses the scientific theory of evolution and the recent legal battles to teach intelligent design in schools. Kenneth R. Miller is a biology professor at Brown University. Miller is particularly known for his opposition to creationism, including the intelligent design movement. He has written two books on the subject. The first, Finding Darwin's God: A Scientist's Search for Common Ground Between God and Evolution, argues that a belief in evolution is compatible with a belief in God. In Only a Theory, his second on the subject, explores ID and the Kitzmiller v. Dover Area School District as well as its implications in science across America.

@Sumwun23 The term neo Darwinism is used in the scientific literature all the time, here and abroad.

@Sumwun23 The neo Darwinian synthesis has been taught for the last 80 years & it has been challenged for many years. Only now have people become more vocal, so much so that even evo devos like S. Newman & other members of the Altenberg 16 summit are calling for an extended synthesis because of its limitions.They're also calling for a relaxing of many of the assumptions of the theory. I & many others accept micro evolutionary change. It is prokaryote to man evolution that is based on assumptions.

@benthemiester
Sounds like a lie...
No scientist uses the word "darwinism". It's made up creationist language. And evolution is not "limited", whatever that means. It may not be absolutely 100% complete as a theory, but it is true and observable in nature.

The title of video is misleading. There is only 1 view being given. Even evolutionary biologist Stewart Newman who is no friend of Intelligent design nor is even a religious man by any means and who also believes in evolution, has admitted that Neo Darwinism better known as The Theory of Evolution is limited and needs to change directions & extended. He even criticizes Dover & says that people have been lied to & asked to believe things that are not true, & he was of speaking of the plaintiffs.

@cjguitarist100 That's not true at all.

@wilytm Excellent wily, it sounds like your eyes may be opening. I dont know where you stand but anyone can recognize this. You might think of scientists as people who only report the facts, but like every news organization they have their biases. They will ignore evidence for creation all day long and swear it doesnt exist.

@jessydaytime This is a common translation error. Read ESV version and you will see that there is a very vital "had made". It is not a lie jessy. You would do well to study it and question scientific principles "currently" held by humanity. These change, but ultimate truth will never change.

There must be thousands of fossils of so called 'transitional species' where they are in very old rocks, where evolution says they must be in new rocks??? (between the ages of species they are transitioning from and to??) Are the evolutionists just ignoring all these wrong age transitional fossils?? I mean it would be just IMPOSSIBLE for all these transitional fossils to be in rocks of the right age to support evolution and Darwin? Surely?? So why do the evolutionists turn a blind eye to this??

@seraph595 You sound more tactful than me. Being less tactful than you I would say, "No, I don't think it's a beautiful lie. I think it's a horribly ugly lie that is being taught to kids & school and presented by the media in ways that brainwash the public."
Truth is beautiful, including scientific truths of course, never lies.
