Drex spins fire poi Saturday night at Spring Wildfire 2009

I've gotten a lot of requests for footage of me spinning fire, so here goes. The first usable video I've gotten of me with my poi lit up. Enjoy!

That waz a pretty good burn :D I enjoyed watching all the way threw... One thing I'd add is more speed variations into ur spinning cuz its seems like u spin at 1 constant speed most of the time.... U should definitely post another fire vid with better lighting though.... Id really like to c how ur body movement looks with the trails of the flames :D But well done and hope to c more soon!!

It's a good suggestion--another friend of mine in DC has mentioned it before as well. I have a hard time thinking in multiple tempos if there's music accompanying me, but I'll play with it and see what the results look like.

Nice spin man!

Good to see you incorporate some stuff you've been working on, already looking good man. =)

Two things I'm particularily missing, playing with level of the move, that is high and lows. Classic example is fountain like moves (flowers does this as well, however since they have low/high symmetry it's not as effective). & finally more floats maybe?

Also remember if you have this good a crowd, you need to entertain them =) hehe
