That other guy we see in this clip, the guy with baby vomit down his back, is that the same guy who played Lorn (the green, kareoke-singing demon) on Angel? Because the voice sounds the same...

Malik's character seems well intentioned but he allows his ambition and self assurance, boarding on arrogance lead him astray and causes him to lose an opportunity.
Now it is that very potent character which makes him an excellent gay character, he has weight and identity aside from being gay. That said his big head may reflect his sexuality and a longstanding need to prove himself worthy. Then again it could be a racial, but then I'm American and everything is about race here. good character!

If this was the first couple of clips I would be bored with HC.Dan/Malick/Chrissie in the first 6 clips with their drama along with the patients problems is what makes HC worth watching.I definetly want to see Malick in that locker room again strutting out of the shower with Dan squirming, then running back to kiss Chrissie, then realizing that Malick is who he really wants.Malick was looking out the window watching them leave the other day,so he has some feelings for Dan.

interesting enough to make me think I want to watch the whole show, even though I'm seriously no good with hospital shows. Also on a more shallow note, everybody was rocking the purple-wardrobe directors favorite color maybe?

Malick is not a leading man. Sorry - this will be the jumping of the shark and cancellation of this show.

I'm so glad that we're not continuing to see Malick and Dan punching each other out as some sort of fangirl foreplay.

I like seeing Malick doing his job :)

Who keeps pushing the dislike button?

@genevievewyatt Of course, I also can't wait to see them interact together again, now that they've had the chance to earn each other's respect and trust a bit - put that trust and respect together with the chemistry they have, and it could be the beginning of something really good.
Malick is always dragged into these personal-where-it-should-be-professional situations. Regardless of the many "new" characters, I agree that it was nice to see Malick in a non-Dan context. The guy is really trying to just do his job the best way he knows how but everyone around him is intent on making it personal :-P

my suggest about learning about the other characters go to TheAmeey who posts the whole episodes divided into parts. This person does a great job. You can also look on TV-dome web site where the series 13 of Holby City is. I went back to watch since Dan appears in Episode 18 - Blue Valentine to understand when his relationship with Malick changed. I agree that it is more pleasant to watch Malick separate from Dan. You see his nicer attitudes.
