IN THIS VIDEO, watch as this silver-painted MV-22 Osprey departs from NAS Oceana to head back to its home base of MCAS New River, North Carolina. This was my first time seeing an Osprey in the air (aside from it arriving on Thursday) and what struck me more than anything else was how quiet it is. I also don't particularly care for the song playing in the background. The videos from Friday and Saturday were pretty bad because of the winds, but they weren't as bad on Sunday, as you can tell in this video.

Id love to here your knowledge about this plane. and fyi, this flys higher then other helis so its out of range of stingers, it has flares, and it has special paint. so i dont get whats so easy to shoot down about it

It's not a helicopter. It's a tilt rotor aircraft

fully deployed in Iraq and doing very well. I think there are some biased comments here on anti aviation testing. I would not want to be on the receiving end of any threat attempt. You will have 4 seconds to run for cover.

is bad cost 67 miilons dollars and no work better than helicopter !

and is very big ans no stealth so with sa-24 or stinger is easy to shot down
