(reupped video)

Spray paint on 18x24 plexiglass.

I used contact paper to make the stencil. And the only part not shown is me cutting out the halftone stencil. Took about 3 days to complete this.

It's based on a pic of Takahashi Ai of jpop group Morning Musume.

  • Rock and tRoll?

  • @TheHopingpegasus It's an inside joke

  • ahh just a question XP

did you put the contact paper on the plexi glass first, then cut the stencel on it?

or did you cut the stencil out then put it on the plexi glass?

i've been wondering, and i'm not sure how to do it.

  • Yeah, that was the part I didn't tape. I put the contact paper on first then cut it. Since it was clear contact paper and on plexi glass I could see the image I printed underneath and can trace it. Even if you don't have clear contact paper you can just draw your image on it and cut it out.

  • hey, i really like this, what is it that you spray on and peel off? i'v been trying to figure this out. is it a clear coat or varnish or something? if you could help me with this that would be great. thanks

  • The thing I peeled off is clear contact paper which you can find in shelving/kitchen section. It's like a big roll of plastic sticker (or frisket paper) pretty much. I cut my stencil on it and peeled off the parts I wanted to spray. It's useful for making clean edges and prevent underspray.
