Here's a clip of my Fiat Spider with a Bosch wiper motor I installed from a 77 VW Rabbit. Double the speed of the Marelli motor and bolts right in. Some wiring mods required.

  • Whoe and thank you for the old film effect

  • Just a cheap digital camera.

  • hey, James, this is Al Williams... I put a Bosch wiper motor on my car at about the same time you did yours, and it doesn't run that well... What else did you do to the system?

  • For starters I bypassed the fusebox and ran a wire directly off the ignition switch through a 7 amp in line fuse.

I took the wiper motor apart and gave it a good cleaning in kerosene and repacked the gear with wheel bearing grease.

I also took the linkage system apart and lubed it with a mixture of 3 and 1 oil and graphite lock lube.
