I am a product of the 80's and I have never seen or heard of a Lincoln Scorpio before. They must have not done too well in the American market.

man this car was ahead of it's time it had almost all the gadgets u find in a car today compared to the Benz n Bmw. my dad got it when i was like 6 n by n then when i was 18 he handed it down to me it would still murder newer cars n the highway had sick acceleration and even 20 years later it was still turning heads

Merkur was a brand launched under Ford that was bringing the European Ford vehicles to the US. Merkur XR4Ti's have gained a certain following since they are the cheapest way to obtain a Ford Sierra.

Why isn't Tim going "grrrrr... GRRRRR!" in this ad? Seriously, is this car not just as cool as the petrol powered waste disposal unit that eats trees, or the supercharged V8 powered ride-on lawnmower that holds a land speed record?

Merkur Scorpios are pretty neat even if they were rebranded euro Ford Sierras..I wanna drive one and to bad they arent common anymore :(
