2 Golden Retrievers and a Daschund kill a dog, and bite a woman.
Three dogs bite woman, kill two other pets

A village of Holly police officer was dispatched to the 400 block of Thomas Street, for a report of dogs fighting, at 10:22 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14. The officer observed a Golden Retriever in the side yard and secured the gate, according to village police reports.

 A resident had blood on her right hand and was very upset. The officer went into the house with her, and saw two Golden Retrievers and a dachshund outside. The womans two dogs were lying inside, near a sliding door. She said her Pomeranian and poodle were attacked by the three dogs in the yard, and one of the golden retrievers bit her hand when she tried to intervene. The poodle had died.

 The Holly officer called Animal Control and went to the 400 block of Thomas Street to find the other dogs owner. A 57-year-old female said she was watching the golden retrievers for her son, who was hunting, and the dachshund was hers. Her sons dogs normally stay in a kennel in his back yard, but the animals were at her house nearby, so she could watch them.

 She said the dogs were not vicious and were very friendly, and she didnt know how they got into the other womans yard. There was a gate for the village to have access to sewer drains, she said.

 The officer returned to the home of the first woman and was told the Pomeranian also had died. The Animal Control deputy arrived, and examined the bodies. The officer met with the second woman and told her the three dogs had to be quarantined for 10 days. In addition, the woman received a citation for wild and vicious animals, and a citation for restraint of animals.

 The first woman came to the village police station with pictures of her injured hand, and of the dogs. She couldnt recall which Golden Retriever bit her.

This is a good video. However...I can say I've NEVER met a vicious Golden Retreiver. That has to be extremely rare in comparison to pitbulls. In fact, my friend who lost half of his arm from his family raised pitbull, now owns a Golden Retriever and a Jack Russell Terrier.

They're not hard to find.  Just up the street from my mom-in-laws house......a very territorial Golden almost rips through the fence everytime we walk past.

(I've been meaning to record it.)

The average family gets a dog and then just leaves it fenced up in the yard. no walks, no play time, no social interaction except to feed and pick up the poo.

Sadly enough, that is very true. Or, the other side is I've seen people who live in apartments and get a dog that is far too big for the space and don't give it proper exercise or socialization.

this is proof that ANY DOG can attack so stop blaming the pitts its the owners fault i have seen really bad dalmation attacks ppl are always all about pitbulls attacking people well thats because they raise them to be vicious only because of their reputation but the truth is any breed of dog can be raised however the owner pleases they can be vicious killer dogs or the sweetest thing on earth so what we ban all dogs from earth??!! geeze ppl WAKE UP!!!!!!

When we were looking into dog breeds for our next dog, and we talked to a golden breeder and she said many of the goldens are being over bred and are inheriting aggresive traits, and with the daschund, there crazy little things very tenacious dogs but you have to be to take on a badger!
