The final step in the yarn - removing it from the bobbin and making a skein. Then it must be washed (to clean and set the twist) and dried. It came out beautifully. I will start knitting immediately so maybe you'll get a couple shots of the finished sweater.
If you need a great pattern to do with yarn like this - or other multi colored yarn, look no further than the Elizabeth Zimmermann Baby Surprise Jacket. You can Google it for information, there is a great video series on youtube on knitting the sweater, and the pattern is available from Schoolhouse Press or many knit shops as well as included in at least two of EZ's books.
